Seller terms
What selling on Jakkaro commits you to, and what it commits us to.
These terms describe how the platform behaves and have not yet been through legal review. They carry no governing-law or liability position — that comes with the registered UAE entity. Everything below is what the product does today.
1. Who may sell
Dismantlers and parts businesses in Dubai and Sharjah, with a valid trade licence. Every shop is reviewed before its listings are visible to buyers, and a shop may be asked for documents at any point.
2. Your listings
You are responsible for what you list. A listing must describe the part honestly, must carry at least one photograph of that part, and must declare defects — a part sold with defects has to say what is wrong with it before it can be published.
List only parts you have and are entitled to sell. A part that is already sold must be taken down; a buyer ordering something you cannot supply costs them a day and costs you a mark on your record.
3. Your price
You set it, and you receive it in full. We add our margin on top for the buyer — fees. A price is fixed at the moment a buyer orders; repricing a listing afterwards does not change what was agreed.
4. Answering
When a buyer orders one of your parts we ask you to confirm you have it. Answer either way, promptly — we chase at two, six and twelve business hours, and after twelve the order is cancelled automatically. Repeatedly failing to answer counts against your shop.
5. Handover
Have the part ready for our driver, and hand over the part you listed. A driver arriving to nothing, or to a different part, is a failed pickup and is the one thing that most affects a shop's standing here.
6. Getting paid
Cash from the driver at pickup on orders under AED 5,000, and your choice of cash or bank transfer at AED 5,000 and above — payouts. You receive your listed price in full, with nothing deducted.
If an order is cancelled after pickup, the driver returns the part and collects the cash refund from you at the same time.
7. Disputes
Buyers raise disputes with us and we resolve them. You will be told on the order when one concerns you, and you can answer there. We hold the record of what was listed, photographed, confirmed and delivered, and we decide on that.
8. Suspension
A shop can be suspended — for repeatedly misdescribing parts, for failed pickups, for documents that do not check out. Suspension removes your catalogue from buyer search the same day. Your listings and your history are kept, not deleted, and a suspension is recorded with its reason and the person who decided it.
9. Your data and your customers'
You receive a buyer's name, phone and address only after confirming you have their part, and only to hand it over. Do not use it for anything else, and do not use the platform to move business off it.
10. Costs
None at present. Every shop is on the free plan. If that changes you will be told before it does — fees.
Anything unclear, ask us before you rely on it.
